This collaborative poetry reading by poets Carlina Duan, Genny Lim & Nellie Wong, accompanied by Cameron Yeong Jang on guzheng, took place on Saturday, July 26, 2025, at noon in the Detention Barracks Museum at the Immigration Station on Angel Island.
Carlina Duan contributed her own poetic passage for the closing selection, a reading of the The Last Hoisan Poets’ signature poem, Haw Meong Suey (Good Life’s Water), accompanied by Cameron Yeong Jang on guzheng.
